THE WACKY AND WILD TRIALS OF AARON BURR

Children's play

Andy has to do a report on the history of Aaron Burr, even though he is another old white guy, but Jordan just wants to host a game show. Meanwhile, Kory has a presentation on the history of utensils, and they all must use interpretive dance, a cat attack, songs, and even a pie to the face to tell the audience what happened after Burr's infamous duel with Hamilton and why he was tried for treason — several times.

The Wacky and Wild Trials of Aaron Burr had its world premiere on May 15 & 16, 2025, at the Rocky Mountain School for Expeditionary Learning (RMSEL).

Everyone at RMSEL did an amazing job with the production. Hopefully, I'll get more!

Previously, the play had a reading at the Dawson School in March 2024. The reading was part of my participation in the Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company's reading series for the writers group I participated in.
